Mac and Cheese is pure evil!

Here is how I would handle this.
I would make the Mac and Cheese (once a week, it is not a bad meal for your daughter).
I would take it from the pot and place her portion on her plate.
I would place about 1/4 cup (or less) on a plate for me --- and I would put the rest down the garbage disposal (or in the trash) before we started to eat.
I would ask the child to clear her own plate -- if she did not eat all of her serving, she would have to put her plate in the sink or scrape the leftovers into the trash.
I cannot be trusted with 1/2 a box of prepared mac and cheese sitting in my house ---
One of my 'rules' is --- "if you can't have a reasonable amount, you cannot have any" -- so, I would use what is reasonable from that one box -- and toss the rest.

Thank you all for the great suggestion. She only gets it once a week and she had it with veggies and a couple of grapes. I'm actually really obsessed over feeding her well. I had overweight parents and I ended up overweight. I really want to end the cycle with her. I'm all over that receipe too. Thanks!
