Link to glycemic index information

Many of us obese individuals are also type 2 diabetics and or have metabolic syndrome...here is a good link to information about the glycemic index and why it is important for us to try to eat a diet with a lower glycemic load.  Even though I have lost 70 lbs, my cholesterol, LDL and tryglyerides are too high.  For me the next step is fine tuning my diet to a lower glycemic load, reduce the amount of insulin released following a meal and improve my values in those three factors.

Thanks so much! The one time I needed to lose a bit of weight the LG diet not only made it happen quickly (comparatively) but my mood and energy leveled out
