I really appreciate how you have given me words of encouragement and support. I am going to try talking to my dr one more time. He is the type of dr who loses interest. He is only interested in his next surgery, and I am closing in on three years. But I do know that if I try to go too tight my band could slip. This is such a bummer !! I have had many, many tests and so far... no hernias. Well thanks again everybody. Maybe I will try the 7 day pouch test to see if that tightens up my pouch a bit.

Did you ever had a total unfill? What that does is help you jump-start weight loss. Stomack tissue gets rest, and you start from the biginning. I had it 3 years ago and I am happy I did it. It is hard to maintain untill you get a fill but it can be very beneficial. Some surgeons do reccomend an unfill from time to time, anywhere from 2 -4 years, so tissue can relax. Just a thaught and something to consider. Good luck.

Never had gastro problems either......this was the first sign of my slip.  I would get some unfilled...it would go away.  Get a fill and the acif reflux would appear.  Be careful...get an ex-ray!

Did you have other signs of a slip? Or was that the only symptom? My dr is kind of ticking me off because I would think that this would have ocurred to him, you know?
