For those of you struggling like myself, pick one band rule and follow it ALL day without fail. Tomorrow add another or when you are ready. I'm drinking my water. Have a great weekend!

I am having NO LIQUID calories today  -- and drinking at least 64 ounces of clear, wonderful water.

Lisa -- I would never want to come between you and your caffeine!!  LOL

I have never been a coffee drinker --- but in the past few weeks, I was lured into Starbucks at an airport (by the sign of the Mocha Coconut Frap) --- and I had one (with 1/3 of the coffee) and now crave them.

I have to go back to no liquid calories --- because I was starting to think up reasons to find a Starbucks --- I don't need any more vices!!!

I understand.  I'm very thankful that my town is too small for a Starbucks.   And thankfully I'm not a fan of the frappacino/cappacino/whatevercino's.  Just plain coffee with a little (1 or 2 tablespoons.) non fat or low fat milk or half/half.. and some s/f syrup and I'm good.  :)

I should probably commit to no saltines or no peanut butter.. but I'm not ready yet.

Thanks for this!!

I'm going sugar free in treats for the rest of the day! I had a little less than half of a low fat chocolate chip huge muffin (I mean how "low fat" can a chocolate chip HUGE muffin be...lol) for breakfast. Gotta stop doing that because that will lead to other things. So if I need a sweet treat tonight, it'll have to be a sugar free fudgesicle!!

This was a great thread, I really needed it today.

I have been weening sugar out of my life slowly. I know myself, I do balls ot the wall (sorry, Im from Jersey, we curse, its what we do) and then fade out. The past ten years Ive been working on sticking to stuff. So Ive learned, for me, I do one thing at a time and do it until I get it. I still have more fluids to get in but Im a third of the way there and aside from meds stickin in my band temporarily, I had no stomach upset.

I am growing to love this board by leaps and bounds. Just reading peoples experiences is amazing
