Bloody stool

I had my surgery on May 5th and this morning after going to the rest room I had a LARGE amount of bright red blood but only when I wiped. Im going to the DR today but is this something I should be worried about. Im not in any pain just have a weird twinge in my stomach that is most likely just me being nervous because I dont know what is going on. I still have blood even when I dont need to go # 2. No where near as much but still some there. Ahhh new band and blood is a little scary

Chances are you have a bleeding hemorrhoid.  I wouldn't get too concerned but still see your physician.

Bright red blood indicates bleeding near the source...your butt.  Most likely a hemorrhoid or fissure from straining.  Have you been constipated?

If you had bleeding from your surgery, it would be "digested" and look like coffee grounds....
