OH and ipad2 - error??

Is it just me and my ipad? I can open OH, move around the site, open reply/new topic boxes but then - stop. When you touch on a box to complete, the onscreen keyboard should pop up. It does on all other sites i go on, but not on OH.

Anyone else? Or do your ipads all work for OH?

I have e mailed OH and am waiting for a reply. Perhaps an OH admin person might see this post and respond.

Sorted! Trick is to change from HTML to text in editor box. No idea why but it works!,,,

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Yes, that is strange......i used to have to change the editor to cut and paste a picture, too. Weird. Thanks!

Hi Kate! As far as I know the ipad works just like the iphone. You have to use the text rather than HTML for responding or posting. It's a dropdown above all the font, color etc...

I have the iPad2 and the same thing, I can read and open anything on this site. If I go to respond or want to start a thread it doen't bring up the keyboard and I can't type either.

Andrea , the advice I was given above works! Just change the box above the reply box to text; it asks if you really want to; you say, OK, the screen goes briefly blank and reply box reappears. Then you touch the box and the keyboard appears.

This is typed on my iPad.

By the way I LOVE ipad2!

Yay!! It worked, I typed this on my iPad! I love the iPad2 too! I don't leave my house without it. This was my " losing 50 lbs. gift". I still have 3 lbs. to go!

But thank you! Now I can post using my iPad!!!

My iphone does the same thing.. I had credited it to Swoosh error, it very frustrating when you find something that you want to reply to and it wont let you type. Perhaps there is an update or something that we don't know about. would love to be able to use it more effectively :)
