Airbrush tan, huh?? That is never included in my "have fun" preparation.  Damnit for me being an East Coast girl!! LOL Enjoy the heck out of your weekend.

So I have been steering WAY clear of anything that looks like a cookie/cracker/rice/pasta, etc. food.  For me those have always been the huge "eat too much foods".  But yesterday I was doing a leisurely grocery shopping and came across the "whole wheat" cracker aisle.  I read some of the nutrition info and for 3 - 4 crackers it ranges from 60 - 80 calories.  Low fat (1.5 gm) with a paltry amount of protein (2 gms) and fairly low carb at 11 grams with 1 gram of fiber, no sugar.  Since I eat my laughing cow cheeses "naked" I thought, heck, this might be a decent thing.  So I purchased some of those very thin water like crackers with a lot of seeds on then.  Yummmmm-o with LC cheese on it!!  Trying to break my fear of carbs.

B:  GNC Amp 60 chocolate protein, 2 tbsp. PB2, 6 ounces of milk (need a cup and paste feature for this since it is every day!)

L:  1/2 cup turkey chili w/beans, 1/4 cup 50% reduced fat cheddar

S:  2 Light laughing cow cheese wedges, 3 Monet Stone Ground Wheat Crackers (incidentally puchased for $1 at the dollar store.  Winning!!!)

D:  pork fajitas without the tortillas (yellow, red and orange peppers, onions), 3 ounces of pork.

Good menu today Mel!!

See, I'm totes addicted to the literal act of eating crackers - that's why it's a trigger food for me.  I know that might sound weird.

You know...Pop em, crunch em, salty, snacky, yummy.  LOL  It's a slippery slope for me...let me know if they are good though!  I'm addicted to White Cheddar and/or BBQ Soy Crisps right now.  But I still even have to count those out (even though they are completely healthy) and put the bag away since it has the "feel" of those damn salty, crunchy crackers! Trigger trigger trigger!!

I'm a cracker addict too.  I think manufacturer's sneak crack into them.. lol.

I found something called Bible Bread last night at Drug Emporium (they have a health food section called Vitamin's Plus).  I bought two boxes, Honey flavor and Garlic.  I think they might be unleavened bread.. but they are very cracker-like.  The honey has a very slight sweet taste and the garlic ones definately taste of garlic.  90 and 100 calories for two of them and one is a good size, a little longer than the palm of my hand from bird finger to wrist.  I'm too lazy to get up and go look at the carbs, but the sugars were low.. even in the honey flavor.. I think it was 2grams.  Protein low too though.. 3grams.

I'm eating them with some salad (very well chewed salad) and enjoying them.  Maybe I can use these instead of saltines (my bane).
