Cell Phone alarm timers...
Just a ramble from someone trying to figure things out!
So part of why I a so big is that I havean eratic schedule... I eat whenever, however, and sometimes all the time. One of the regulars here ( jean I think... too busy to look her up :( ) says to eat at specific times. I just could not get my head around it. I know controlling the quantityof what I eat i important, but i think my eating schedule may knock things out of the park... this is my second day and i like what I am doing so far.
I have set a vibration alarm ( noone else eeds to know! ) on my cell phone...for 830, 1130, 230, 530 and 830. and my rules are to eat within 20 minutes either side of those times and no other times at all~~~. I didn't eat at 830 last night because i wasnt hungry. ( I did have a cracker at 1130pm because I took a pill and needed something to take it down~ but that was not a biggie~today i had forgotten that I had an 1130 setting and when my alarm went off I was shocked and didn't need to eat... I think these boundaries may help... they are in 3 hour increments and that seemed really manageable. i ate way less than the days before...

Eating on a schedule really helps me, too.
I liken myself to the monkeys at the zoo --- the zookeeper comes around every few hours -- when he is not there, it is not time to eat.
I work from home most of the time, and I am alone in the house -- I have to keep to a schedule, or I am tempted to eat all day long.
Your timetable is much like mine --- 3 of my mealtimes are about 300 calories and 2 of them are around 100 - 150 calories.
