I received a tiny fill today. I ate only a little tonight at dinner. Something must have stuck because I was having that sliming effect and now I'm quite uncomfortable. Any suggestions? I am afraid to try and sleep because I know the acid will start. Please help me!

Didn't the surgeon instruct you to stay on liquids for at least 2 days after a fill?  What did you have to eat?

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

Papaya enzyme might help or peppermint tea if you can swallow liquids.
One day at a time, and one meal at a time, and I WILL reach my goal!

You absolutely should be on liquids.  My dr puts me on liquids for 48 hrs and then mushies for another 48 hrs.  Sorry, I know how uncomfortable it can be.  Try the papaya enzyme.  It is a godsend...

Please yes only liquids for 24-48 hours after a fill!

Stay on liquids today since you were stuck yesterday.  At least I would.

Good Luck!

Ginger tea is also soothing to the tummy.
