 I am:

Late
Unprepared
Stressing
Dreading a LONG day

Today is a super long day , not in time but in projects. I take care of a shut in and do his shopping and lawn, as well as pick a friends kid up from her bus stop, home school...couldnt do his lawn yesterday as it rained so both need to be done today. So about two hours shopping and three to four on his lawn, and them the other stuff. I had serious trouble sleeping last night and woke up late. Hands are hurting badly and I prepared NOTHING last night.

Im going to try to start over. I cant make myself unlate so I will do what needs to be done so the rest of the day will be less bumpy. Make a shake, pack my meds, yogurts and lunch as well as my water and other fluids. Take a book for the wait at the bus as well as my phone for emails. Oh and the modem goes in my purse so my kid will do her work and not go on the play station. She can do her online lessons when I am home.

I feel less harried already :)

Where are you internally and whats in focus for you today?

Well for me Monday-Friday is pretty much the same.  Get up at 5am, work 6am-5pm, workout 5:15-6:45, home cook dinner.  Today I have doctor appointment to fit in before my workout but after work.  So I will be home later than usual.

You just have to have something to look forward to and keep your mind on that.  That's what I do keep myself sane.

I can't wait till my 3 day weekend!!!  Ahhh.  I have been looking forward to this since January...how sad is that....hahahaha!!!!

Hi There:
I own my own business and that keeps me so very very busy that I finally broke down and made the decision to take care of myself first so I could show up to take care of everyone else .  On sunday I make up 2 stacks of 1/2c tupperware containers with my am  & pm vitamins and supplements including a protein shake.  I also cook and chop up my protein and veggies into the same type of containers.   I go to the gym at 5am them dash home to shower, eat and leave for work---I just grab the various containers and already filled water bottles then head out the door.  Time spent getting my meals/snacks/supplements/water etc ready to go--about 3 minutes.  Until I started getting ready for the work week ahead of time I always ended up either running late or not having something with me when I needed it.  As part of my journey I bought a really cute lime green totebag to hold everything--with matching green water bottles that I fill from a water filter pitcher.

Getting myself organized well ahead of time has made such a difference.  Self-care does not come natural to  me but I am learning!

I just had my 5month anniversary and have released 63#---One-derland is 2 pounds away!

Hang in there ---

I am having a good day. Just got back from an overnight visit with my parents. I had a dr. appt., follow up from my facelift. He said everything looked good. I am still feeling motivated to loose a few pounds I have gained. The damn scale just won't move, but I am trying to focus on doing the right things and knowing it will move eventually.

Congratulations on your healing! I have a friend who likes to remind me every day "NO matter what, do the next right thing"...I may have to kick her...but shes always right.
