Is this normal?
First time experience...
I had gone to the beach over the weekend and came home gleaming red with a brand new sunburn as many probably know I had the chills then sweats etc for about 2 days afterwards. I flushed my system with diet gatorade and lots and lots of water but simply did not have an appetite so I barely ate. (Not hungry=don't eat) for me. The loss of appetite for me also happens right around that time of the month but I normally drink protein shakes, this time I didn't do that just drank gatorade and water and slept.
Now I am feeling much better sunburn wise and I have my appetite back but my band seems a ton looser like I could eat like I could pre-band and for some reason I am going from not hungry at all to starving and instantly shaky (the kind of shaky I used to get from not eating pre-op when I had blood sugar issues). Not sure if this is something that is normal or if I should push up my next appointment with doc and get checked. Anyone have some insight? Thanks in advance.

Tricia,
How long has the super-loose thing been going on? A day? A week? If it's just a day or so, I'd wait a few more days and call your surgeon if you feel the same way on Monday. If it's been a week or so, you could call your surgeon today but I don't know that you'd get in to see him/her today because what you're describing doesn't sound like a medical emergency - you're able to eat, drink, function, no other symptoms.
I've noticed that when I have no appetite, forget to eat, and/or have to force myself to even eat a few bites, a day or so later my body rebels, as if it's in a panic about that calorie deprivation. Then I'm ravenously hungry for a day or so, until I get back into a better eating routine. And during the hungry days, I can go from no appetite to ravenously hungry, shaky, and irritable in one quick minute. I've checked my blood sugar because I wondered if my glucose level had dropped too much, but I've never gotten a reading that qualifies as hypoglycemic. All I can figure is that this is my body's way of telling me it needs fuel.

I have been sitting at about 2.5cc for the past 6 months...give or take a couple weeks. I was still feeling restricted and losing about 1-3lbs a week for the first maybe 4 months with no stuck episodes so I requested no adjustments. Over the past 2 months I have had less restriction week by week and haven't had any weight loss either.
I'd say I have felt like I had no restriction for almost a month now which was when I called the good ole doc last week and made an appointment for a fill. I was hypoglycemic pre-band and haven't had that shaky feeling since then which is what struck me as odd when I seem to have it even after I eat now although not as bad. My lil blood tester is packed somewhere still so I haven't checked.
I am trying to not eat more than a cup of food right now but it's getting harder and harder when my tummy is saying "FEED ME WOMAN!"
I added in an extra snack today (in bold):
Early: Coffee with splenda and sf vanilla creamer
Post workout protein shake
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with turkey bacon, onion, red pepper, and a little colby jack as garnish.
Snack: 2 Tillamoo Mild Cheddar snacks (those lil wrappers are a pain in the *** btw)
Lunch: Salad with parm cheese, prociutto, red onion, 1 cherry tomato cut-up and leftover chicken alfredo.
Snack: Special K Protein Bar and strawberries (haven't eaten yet although I'm getting more and more tempted,, trying to wait until next break at 3)
Dinner: I think I want to grill up the fresh flounder I got on sale yesterday.
Dessert: It's frosty friday and movie night in my house. Probably going to go to tropical smoothie where me and hubby normally share one.
uhg I am hungry lol

So maybe you just need a fill, and the sunburn thing is just coincidence.

LMAO I know. I was totally irresponsible and grabbed the SPF 4 rather than the SPF 40 spray. My hubby never ever burns so he uses the 4 and I doused the kids before we left with bullfrog but forgot about me since I am normally the one trying to get everything else together. Why do kids never think about towels?
I did however have my fancy "Sex in the City" hat on (LOL) so my face was safe at least. My back now features a very good depiction of what my beach chair looks like. (I have stipes down my back), Lesson: don't get engrossed in books at beach :)
