Update on night time pain
I saw my PCP today and he doesn't think the pain that is waking me up is dangerous. He does suspect that it is the tubing from my band touching my vagus nerve, so told me to discuss it with my bariatric team when I see them later this month for my one year.
I last saw my PCP on Feb 28 and am down 11 lbs from that date! Certainly not a huge amount for 10 weeks, but not bad!

Did he at least do an EKG to make sure it was not your heart ?
I'm a slow loser so 11lbs in 10 weeks sounds pretty good to me. I keep haggling with the same pound or pound and a half in the last week or so. Sorry about your pain. I thought I was always gonna have come and go left side pain. And neck/shoulder pain when I ate. Both have been gone for several days now. Oops, the left side pain has come back today, but only slightly.
I am thrilled with the 11 lb loss...my one year "bandiversary" is coming up on the 28th and I am very pleased with my progress. I suspect that my tubing may be slacker than it was at the time of surgery since I have lost a lot of belly fat (visceral) and maybe it is touching the vagus nerve when I am in a certain position...will find out soon.
I went to the PCP primarily to rule out cardiac or gall bladder issues...just due diligence.
