Fisrt you decided to comment and share your disapproval with comments made by many of us who have had bands longer and been here longer than you have...but YOU felt that YOU had the right to declare when the board as being GOOD and when it could be better.
Ummm noooo.....had my band for almost 3.5 years, and I never once differentiated if whether or not my post was being directed at people that were banded before me or after. My post was being directed at people who were acting juvenile and mean......guess you are proving my point. Thank you.

No...YOUR posts are directed at people whom YOU think are not posting in a manner that YOU approve of and YOU feel that YOU have the right to correct them and/or comment on their posts because YOU don't like them. It isn't YOUR board.
Sorry you missed the point...but I guess you're used to that.
In any group of a hundred people, there are probably 2 or 3 sociopaths. In a group of a thousand, more like 20-30. They function very well in "affinity groups," where people have things in common and tend to trust strangers. I am NOT saying not to trust anyone. I AM saying that there are probably two dozen sociopaths hanging out here and looking for victims. Most are NOT serial killers.

It's too bad she had all the posts removed that showed how often she lied... so all that is left is the lingering memory of people "being mean" to her.
I see she's back under another new name, though. So far she's been tiffany, tricia... and now this one. I won't say anything this time and just let everyone believe what they want in the spirit of board peacefulness. Wouldn't want to be "mean" or anything.
Thank you, Steph, for seeing the truth of the situation.
I had a 45 minute conversation with Dr. Baptista on Friday. Did I mention that he has a law degree in addition to his Medical degree?

I rememberr you from way back when we weere both newly banded Mel. Unfortuantely this board hasn't ever really been a place that offers support to those struggling. Cuz dontcha know, those of us not losing, or having other issues have all brought it on ourselves. I know I personally hung out on OH, but didn't feel comfortable posting on this particular board when I've had issues with my band.
One thing I do like about the evolution of this board is those having complications are writing about it more. I also have issues with the Band Grad board. It seems like the vets are doing a disservice to the newbies by going their to discuss their issueswith their bands rather than on the main lapband board.

I guess we have just had different experiences. I have always felt free to share my band struggles here. I have seen some threads turn in to bashing, and blaming the bandster, yes....and would never condone that.
I am glad people feel free to share their struggles....there was a time, and I sure you remember, that if anyone dared post about band problems, a DSer would be here pointing and laughing, saying, SEE I TOLD YOU SO!!! That was bad.
When I had my slip, the very last thing I wanted to hear was, "I told you so!!!" I wanted to hear that it would be alright, that it could be fixed or a revision could easily be done. I know that without a tool in place I am doomed.

I've always been here for you Melly...through the good and bad...and will remain supportive of your choices because you have no ill will and are, quite frankly, one of the nicest people on the boards. If I ever have problems with my band, I know you would not judge me. I would run to you to discuss anything. Straight up. So thanks for that. xoxo
