Is Anyone Happy?

I'm very happy with my band so far.  I've had it for 8 1/2 months so far, and since the placement of my band I've lost 82 lbs...  Including the 14 lbs that I lost in the 3 weeks before surgery, I've lost 96 lbs overall.

I was not happy with my lap band and required a second surgery for removal after just over 2 years with the band. I had complications with my band even though I was a compliant patient. My story is posted on the Failed WLS board if you are interested.

I am VERY happy with my sleeve! The sleeve is like a band that works without the high rate of post-op complications. I would recommend looking into the sleeve if you are interested in a restriction only option. There are a lot of band revisions over on the VSG board. You could post over there if you are interested in getting a comparison of experiences with both.
