 should you fast before your first fill?

Call your doctor and see what they would like you to do.

I don't fast, but I also don't eat for at least an hour before my fills.

LIke Lisa, I don't fast --- but I do stop eating a few hours before it.

I schedule my fills to be at 1:30pm --- and so I eat a normal breakfast and then a light lunch at about 11:00

My doctor has me do full liquids for the remainer of the day, and then move back to normal food the next day if I feel able to.

Some doctors have very different protocols, so be sure to ask how they want  you to eat/drink after the fill.

I also never left the office without scheduling my next appointment ****il my last appt, since I am below my goal weight).

I got my fills every 3 weeks at first -- some surgeons schedule them farther apart.

 I didn't, but you may want to ask your surgeon.  I usually do 24 liquids after a fill though.
