Lap band slippage and/or erosion

I need help. Has anyone experienced lap band slippage and/ or erosion? I was banded about 5 years ago. I am now experiencing periodic fevers of unknown origins. When the fever presents my wbc and sed rate are Very Elevated. once the fever is gone everything returns to normal. Taking antibiotics keep the fever at bay. I have no pain or indication of infection at port. Does anyone have an answer or similar story?

Has  your band surgeon done an EGD?  Sounds like you need to get your band checked to rule out an erosion.

I had a band slip, but I never had symptoms like that.  I hope you can see your surgeon and rule out any band problems!  Good luck!
