down????
Debbie,
Its been a long time since we have talked!! Its like you just read my mind though....That is EXACTLY what I was thinking....2 people at my work have had bypass and of course lost what took me a month, took them like a week! However that being said they have also put about 30-40 lbs of it back on. I am happy with my weight loss but your right in the back of my mind, its like, man if it would only come off faster, but then why? Its not like THAT would make me happy. I don't know what would make me happy....But you are very right...I hope it does pass soon, but I'm sure it wont.....Thanks for the support though!!!

Hey J...I think you do need to take your meds and your husband should take his, if he has them or seek treatment for his depression, if he doesn't have meds already. A teen-aged boy and two depressed parents is not a good combination. Talk to your surgeon too...he/she needs to know what is going on with you. Sometimes, subconciously, we have this idea that our WLS is going to fix us and when that doesn't happen, there can be a let-down.
I use a blue light to fight SAD (seasonal affective disorder) in the fall and winter months. It really helps during our dark and dreary winters here in the PNW. It is set to go on, like an alarm at the same time each day for 30 min. Might help???
Hang in there...brighter days are coming...but you have to take some action to make it happen...

Steph, I did call my doc(PCP), well guess what, she is out until 5/9. the doc on call said, I need to wait till she comes back to see her...WTF? I think that is just awful. So I have to wait. My hubby is down a lot. But I think part of the problem is that he doesn't get home from work till 830, so I don't eat supper till 9. Of course the kids eat around 530, but we can't ever eat as a family. My work, I feel I'm on the "outside" even though I have been there for 10 years. I'm so tired of feeling like an outsider. Does that make sense?? My teenager is actually a girl.....We are so much alike that we butt heads A LOTTTTT!!! But she is glued to my hip...That drives me nuts as well.....
I was thinking about going to a tanning bed, to get some artifical sun? I don't know...I'm lost right now and wish life was easy!!
Thanks for all your support Steph and everyone.....this is a great board...
