needs some encouraging
So I have been stuck at 243 for 2 weeks now, it will go up and down then back! UH! I think im doing ok with what I have been eating. I think its the exercsize. Im a cahsier so I stand all day and Im just to tired to do a complete work out. But other than that Since my 2nd fill I dont feel hungry! Its only been almost 2 months and I lost 20lbs is that ok? Should I have lost more than 20 already?
Just remember everybody is different on weight loss. Dont compare yourself to others if you do that you will end up being disappointed and frustrated .
Are you getting ready for your period ? I can gain anywhere from 3-8 pounds a week to a week and half before my period and it dont go away till almost halfway through my cycle :o( . Your TOM can play a major part in your weight loss and weight gain through the month .
Another question are you tracking your food to honestly know what you are eating ? I track on livestrong.com and anything and everything that I put in my mouth goes into that chart.
You might think you are eating good but in reality you are not . Those calories and carbs can sneak up on you big time :o)
What is your carbs like ? Sodium you really really have to watch that , sodium will kill any weight loss if you are eating to much of it. I can look at salt and retain water lol that is how bad it is for me .
Instead of doing a complete workout do you have a pet (dog) that you can take for a short brisk walk ? That would be good for them and you at the same time . When the temps break here that is what I will be doing also.
What about just even 20 min ? There is alot of exercise tapes out there that are for quickie workouts that really get your heart rate up in less then 20 min that would be better then nothing :o)
What about a stationary bike ? You can just sit there and peddle till your hearts content while watching your favorite shows on TV ? You can get a hr in before you know it because you got something to pay attention to . That is what my one friend does every night she watches her shows on DVR and peddles away lol.
Also you might have just hit a stall . I hit one for about 5 weeks in Feb . I didn't lose anything and then one morning I was down almost 5 pounds . Sometimes your body just needs time to adjust to the new way of life and it can be very frustrating !!!
Most important track your food !!! See there where your problem areas might be .
I bet you anything your period is playing a factor into all this :o) And if you are eating higher sodium foods during that time it makes it even harder to get rid of the extra water .
Watch the lean cuisine meals those are very high in sodium and not the best to be eating.
If you could try to eat some better dense protein for your lunch it would even be better for you . You said you work all day fix what you are going to fix for dinner the night before and then stash some away and save it for your lunch.
I always before I put the dish out for the family I snag a couple pieces of chicken and that can be my meals the next day all I have to do is reheat and its done :o)
You can eat them lean cu sine but I would not make a daily habit of it .
And 20 is really good :o) . My doc as long as we lose at least 5 pounds per month or more he wont give you a fill. So your doc is going to be very very pleased with you .
Keep up the great work you are doing fantastic !!!
