So I was hungry...very hungry and I decided to go get something maybe a smoothie because I have not been able to eat since Easter. Well...tropical smoothie was packed with a 30 min wait time so I instead went to Wendys for a frostie (yes, I know its fattening and bad for me but I haven't had 500 calories in my system since Easter so yeah...) Well the lady at the window handed me a bag and I said "I didn't order this" she said they made an extra sandwich and they were giving me that for free. I thought "Hmm...perhaps the world is telling me something" So I took a bite of the chicken, waited for 3+ minutes prepared to bring it up...but it didn't come up at all...I finished all of the little chicken patty no problems.
I am so excited and a little relieved. I still need to get into the ER to get pics of my band for the Dr. but omg..I am thrilled. Has anyone ever had that happen? Where everything is stuck for days/weeks then suddenly gone? What does that mean after 3 yrs I never had this happen...

Sometimes, if you give your band/pouch a few days rest after a stuck episode, the swelling will cease and it may go back to "normal" and kind of work itself out. This may be the case for you since you didn't eat for awhile due to discomfort. I'd say it's a good thing but still get it checked like you said. :) Please do take it slow and easy with your food progression though to avoid another catastrophe. Good luck.
Sometimes after you get stuck on food or vomit and you try to eat again and you get stuck again or vomit or PB you keep irriating your stomach and band and causing swelling..
its always recommended after an eposide like that to go on liquids to give yourself a healing break..
It's very likely your swelling has come down that's why you are able to eat. But still with the constant problems you have had lately it's like you need an unfil ..
