NSV

Hey All,
Hope you don't mind me sharing my lastest NSV.  I'm in a band and we have a gig tomorrow night.  Even though I'm trying not to buy much in the way of clothing, I went out in search of a shirt I could wear at the gig that would be flattering, as well as take me into the next weight loss phase.

Of course, you can't try on shirts without a pair of pants, so I grabbed two pair - a size 18 & a 20 (I originally was a 26/28).  Long story short - the 18's were too big!!!  I ended up buying a size 16!!!   I'm feeling a bit giddy and thought I would share. 
I'm loving my band...

Isn't it awesome to buy clothes that are much smaller than before!! I couldn't believe it when I purchased a pair of size 16 jeans (they're getting baggy now as I'm sure I can fit a size 14 but won't go shopping yet...lol)! I was once too a size 26/28 so I definitely know how you feel!!! Good for you and keep up the good work! You'll be into a size 14 in no time!

Congrats Barbara, I am a 26/28 right now and I really can not imagine how elated you must be!! I am preop (my insurace requires a 6 month physician monitored  diet!! Good luck on your journey! This was so inspiring!!

 Don't worry, Sheneka - the 6 months go by very fast.  Before you know it, you'll be the one inspiring all of us...

That is AWESOME!!  I have clothes that I have been able to shrink into and I am throwing out the old bigger ones - when I hit 100 pounds lost I am going to buy a few things and then go on a crazy shopping spree when I hit goal.  Keep up the great work
