Oh no not again!!

16 weeks post op and everything is great with my weight loss, but yesterday i got home from work and noticed something wet coming through my shirt. When i look at one of my incisions near my belly button it opened up and green puss was leaking from it and it was smelly sorry (TMI) I rushed and called my surgeon and he told me to come to the office right away. I went to the doctors office and he said that looks like i have an infection from a suture from surgery. Wow , after 3 months NO, NO . I went through this same exact thing 2 years ago with a hernia operation where my incisions were not healing. He also said because my skin tends to keloid that could be the problem also. He cleaned my incision and put silver nitrate in it and wants to see me back in a week. SMH, i hope and pray that it heals good after all i went through in the past with other surgeries, it was a nightmare! Please keep me in your prayers that everything works out, oh by the way , he said he's really proud of my weight loss and im doing great! I'll keep you all updated.

You realize you posted this on the lap-band forum????  Did you disclose your past healing issues to your surgeon?  Sometimes they take extra precautions with a patient with a history of healing issues.
