Some of you may remember that I posted in February about my daughter's accomplishments re: weight loss and fitness...

My daughter and my husband ran their first half marathon on April 16...it was one of her life goals..

Her dad finished in 2:08 (not bad for almost 64) and after he hydrated and ate something, went back for her...ran in with her...she was in such pain for about 24 hours....

That truly shows his character. To run that far and finish and then run back to accompany her! Congrats to both!

Wow, what an accomplishment!  I tried the C25K and I just can't get into running yet.  I admire people that can run!

She was quite the athlete growing up...ski racing, soccer, track...then she started having kids...the first was 9 lbs and 23 inches long...(she is 5'2" and short waisted) then we found out she was having triplets...her rectus muscles are shot, so no abs.  It is great to see her getting back into shape.  The kids are 15 and 13 now.

Wow, I admire her for running.  I keep thinking I want to do it and give it a try for a few times and then I decide to just walk instead.  I'm sure having triplets did a number on her with only being 5'2"  Yikes!

How proud you must be of them both!  I am not a runner, but do walk 2 miles several times a week and incorporate Zumba.  I bow to runners.  As I've always said if you see me running, look for the man with an ax behind me!
