Anyone have any recommendations on good tasting protein shakes. I have found a couple that I would drink but don't really enjoy. I'm having surgery in a little over a month and want to find more options in terms of protein powders and shakes.

Syntrax peach fuzzy navel. Good alone with water and ice or with some fruit(fresh or frozen) or yogurt in the blender.

The whole Syntrax line of protein is really good.  I like the chocolate truffle flavor.

4 ounces of some sort of dairy (I use heavy cream but you can use milk)
4 ounces of cold water
1 1/2 scoops of Syntrax Chocolate Truffle

Shake it good (or blend it).  Then add:
8 ounces of hot coffee

DE-LIGHTFUL!!

I liked the ready-made Atkins shakes.  Wal*art sells them.

Good Morning,
I recommend Unjury .  I have used this product throughout my journey and love the taste.  I like all the flavors and they offer great recipes on their website as well.  www.unjury.com.
Lactose free, 20+grams of protein, great flavors plus a soup.

Good Luck

I have tried many over the years since being banded.....and the best for me are:

Oh yeah Chocolate shakes.............I have them on weight lifting days...32 grams of protein.........

On non lifting days I like Atkins Mocha Latte and the Dark Chocolate Royal..........

And yes, I know it is somewhat a hot topic but I still have a shake in the morning..............somehow it keeps me on the right track for the day and full for hours.

I prefer the Slim Fast Low Carb shakes.

Syntrax (Nectar) can be bought online, we have a store here called The Vitamin Shoppe that sells them.  Might find them at GNC...

Here are a few tips I learned from my support group...

For Fruit-type protein drinks - you can add SF Crystal Light mix to inhance the flavor.  I use this with the Nectar protein from Syntrax, because I don't like the peachy taste, so I add a stick of Orange Crystal Light to make it more orange-tasting...

For the Milky/Shake type drinks...you can add a teaspoon of SF Jello Pudding mix to make it thicker and tastier....  Just save the rest of the package for a later shake....1 pkg of pudding mix can last for 4-5 shakes or more....
