Awesome!!!!! Are you doing a Atkins type induction phase, staying under a certain number of grams or just having good carbs.............do tell.... my sugar cravings are in overdrive.

I agree with the other poster, take measurements so once the water weight loss stops you will see the inches drop.

that's so awesome! Sugar is seriously is what is in the way of me losing any more weight! I go a few days and then BAM! I really am hoping the best for you on this! I need to do the same! :)

Its hard to stick to low carb!  Good deal girlfriend....BTW, Dumb and Dumber is one of my fav movies...anything w/ Jim Carrey in it is wonderful!!! 

Good job girlfriend...I had my Atkins shake and 1/4 of a chef salad!  I don't think any carbs in anything I ate today....Not sure what is for supper yet though...

You've had way less carbs than me then! I think I blew it yesterday by eating a ton of sugar snap peas. I just assumed they were a vegitable but they have 7g carbs per serving.

I hate blowing a whole day by eating a RAW VEGGIE! Something is just UNFAIR with that...LOL.

I started the atkins shakes yesterday. What a life saver!!! NUM NUM NUM

It says "all phases" on the back so I pray they don't stall me.

I also got some chocolate peanut butter advantage bars that say acceptable for all phases. Have you tried them? Kinda like eating a candy bar, but only one carb. I know I should avoid "frankenfoods" but I figure it's better than the old way of eating...

I've been doing this about a day and a half, too. Yesterday was rather high carb but all good carbs. Today I am at 50 and think I might die. lol My fat count is even fairly low. I get hungry but one of the first things I learned while preparing to get my band is that hunger is not a true emergency, it only seems like it. I never allowed myself to experience hunger when I was binging on tons of sugar. I ate nonstop, day and all night. Each dog we have had has learned right away to follow me if I get up in the night because it will mean food. If dad gets up it is food free so they don't bother. I have also been a non night eater for 4 days.

From here just letting the time build is key for me. Unfortunately for me I am committed to making a carrot cake for my grandaughters 16th birthday, at her request. I agreed while stuffed with sugar. I can do it and have done it before but not tasting the frosting will be tough. Well, it is time to get real tough!

Atkins says 20 carbs a day the first 2 weeks. I think I've been around 30. My dr. said I'd be doing well to keep it under 100 , but to keep calories at 1200. So I guess I need to pick a plan and stick to it. Either follow the 20 carb rule to a T or the 1200 cal rule to a T.

I know deep down carbs are my crutch so I need to get them under control, and stop letting them control me!!!

I know there is a "what we are eating today"post, but what about "what low carb we are eating today"   This way it will give us ideas of how to stay on a low carb meal plan.
