After eating

I am 4 days post op and after I eat my heart races like Ive been running. Does anyone know why or has anyone experienced this?

There's lots of info online info regarding increased heart rate after eating. Do you know how to take your pulse? Can you keep track of it and then you could mention it to your Dr.
