I just had the lapband 4-7. I have almost like burning pain from where the port is. Seems worse if I sit a certain way or bend down. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thank you

I had discomfort at times with my port at first, I think part of it was the healing process and part of it was just the fact that now hey guess what....there is something new in me!  Obviously if it gets hot or turns colors then I would notify Dr, but chances are good its just part of the healing. Hang in there, try not to stretch and aggravate that area, but walk walk walk. :)

Just keep swimming,

I had that same type of discomfort for a few weeks. It wasn't anything intense, just kind of a burning ache especially when I moved a certain way. It eventually went away. Congrats on your surgery. I wish you much success!

Thank you Vickie! It helps to know that I'm not the only one. That is exactly what mine is like- the burning-ache if I move a certain way. I'll be happy once it does go away!
