What I'm Eating Today: Thursday

Share today's menu with us! Everyone can join in, no matter what phase of eating you're in - liquids, mushies, solids, etc.


Breakfast: LARGE
 coffee w/ skim milk and Splenda (I needed it today!), fat free cottage cheese w/ pineapple

Lunch: 
Meatball w/ marinara sauce

Dinner: Ordering my favorite appetizer from a local Italian place - grilled veggies (red pepper, zucchini, eggplant) w/ fresh mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic vinegar

Snacks:
 fat free Greek yogurt, maybe a small protein shake w/ banana 
You can't go back and make a brand new start, but you can start from now and make a brand new end.

B:  Nectar Chocolate Truffle protein shake, baby banana, 5 ounces of skim milk (felt like I had to half the protein drink because it called for 8-12 ounces of milk/water for the whole packet and that is too much for me right now)

S:  Hard boiled egg (snatched out of the Easter Bread that was on the birthday celebration table after our staff meeting this morning)

L:  chicken and broccoli stirfry

D:  meatballs w/ricotta and marinara sauce

LOL - I have to laugh, Donnamarie, because I did the same thing with my aunt's Easter Bread last weekend!!!  

Oh, the changes that occur during our banded life!!!!

s 10 wasabi almonds, string cheese

L low carb yogurt w/ 1/2 cup flax pumpkin granola 1/2 banana

D hamburger patty with grilled onions and BBQ sauce

Where did you buy the wasabi almonds?  Those sound yummy!

They are wasabi and soy sauce .They are made by blue diamond the only place I have found them is at Walgreens. I am not a big almond fan but I love these.

Hi bandster buddies! Dawn that veggie appetizer dish sounds amazing!

Early: 1.5 scoops BSN Lean Protein Desserts - Cinnamon flavor, 3/4c unsweetened almond milk, 2T SF DaVinci Pumpkin Pie Syrup

B:  2 egg whites, scrambled with feta cheese & scallions

S: 4 strawberries, 2T greek yogurt  for dipping with a splash of SF DaVinci French Vanilla Syrup

L:  2 oz grilled lemon chicken, 1c raw spinach, sprinkle of shredded cheddar, 2T LF Balsamic

S: N/A (lunch was late)

D: 3oz Southwest Stuffed Chicken Breast, 1/4c FF refried black beans, 1/8c salsa

Dessert:  Definitely more of those plump, delicious strawberries!!

Mmmm...it is AMAZING! I eat half of it, and then have the other half over a salad or with chicken the next day.

Wasabi & Soy Sauce Almonds are one of my favorites too! And because they have such a kick, they are already portion controlled, for me. They're not something I can binge on, like honey roasted almonds are cashews. THOSE are dangerous for me
