smell and taste perversion

After my surgery I have had annoying reactions to various foods and smells that I used to like.

Like my husband's cologne, pumpkin soup and my sugar free tropical flavoured drink.

This is devastating.

I blame the anaesthetic - did anyone else get queasy over things they used to like. ANd how long did it last?

PS I am not pregnant.

I think its common for the first week or two but not after that!
