Hey all!!!  Another question for you guys....

If you aren't hungry do you eat?  The reason why I ask, is because, I ate a scrabbled egg and 1/2 sausage patty for breakfast at 8 and wasn't even hungry at 1 for lunch, but thought I should eat at least my yogurt then again I wasn't hungry at supper at 8 pm but ate a pc of fish....I didn't get my protein in but I'm just not hungry??  What is everyones thoughts on it??  I don't feel like my band is to tight or anything, I feel great...

The weather finally broke here in PA, so the kids and I went out for a 30 min walk...That was beautiful!!

Thanks all!!

Good Job ! Try and get your protein that is most important to staying healthy and feeling good, don't forget your vitamins and get your water in.. I do a protein shake for breakfast that way I get 50 G or protein first thing in the AM.. Glad to hear your doing so well !

You are fairly new at this so be happy you still don't get that hungry. I would suggest that yes you do go ahead and eat a little something. You want your blood sugar levels to stay on an even keel so try to get some protein in if you can. It doesn't have to be a big full meal even a piece of string cheese wrapped with ham would be plenty. Sometimes in the begining that was a meal. Trust me the hunger will come!

Great to not be hungry but going more than four or five hours without something isn't good. Doesn't mean you have to have something big but just a little snack.........some docs frown on snacking but there is new evidence that shows that eating 6 smaller meals rather than 3 regular ones a day is better for keeping blood sugar levels and can help with metabolisim......many other benefits as well. Protein burns more calories and prevents the weight loss from being muscle so I would concentrate on getting that in

You should however follow your docs instructions regardless, mine doesn't have a problem with snacks or mini meals as long as the six mini meals don't total more than what I would have in three. He doesn't have a problem with protein shakes after a work out either.......

This journey is really about getting healthier and you need adequate nutrition and fluids, so I say you need to eat and get your protein in etc.  Think of food as fuel for your body.  Try to eat as healthy as possible.
