Are you seeing your surgeon and nutritionist regularly?  I saw my team every 3 weeks for the first several months ------ kept me on track and losing 10 pounds a month.

Sounds like you need some more recipes, for starters try theworldaccordingtoeggface.com she had a different type of surgery but has great weight loss recipes. Also just play around on the internet there are a ton of places with recipes just put in whatever meat you are using and you'll get more recipes than you know what to do with. Good luck!

How have you been cooking the chicken?  I have to be careful with chicken, but I can bake it in a marinade or cook it in a slow cooker and it falls apart.  Much easier to eat that way.  Also, eggs are a good source of protein.  Hard boiled, scrambled, egg salad....  I also eat turkey roll ups, smear a little bit of laughing cow cheese or with cheddar.  Turkey meatballs, greek yogurt ..... really, there are a lot of different band-friendly recipes.

If you are stuck at one weight, you may need to evaluate your calories.  I have seen several posts on here where people actually had to up their calories to start losing again.

I agree.... you may be actually starving your body and so your body may try really hard to keep its  current weight.

For 2 weeks before my last fill I decided not to try to loose any weight for and I ate a bit more calories.... I actually bumped up my calories to 1300-1400 and continued to loose  I was so surprised.

The other thing is you might be on a plateau. After my fill I was on a plateau and was stuck for 2 weeks, but  I did not panic and in 2 weeks it just started coming off again... try not to worry too much and just keep going you are doing great!  It will come off!!

The band may not be perfect, but it will be perfect for me!

Even if you don't want to eat more.. try just drinking 1 protein shake as a snack 100-200 calories MAX and that might boost your calorie intake a tad and add protein... or even a protein bar... I like shakes better because they have less carbs and sugars for the most part like EAS Carb Control or Myoplex light or Muscle Milk Light..

I eat a lot of low sodium deli meat .. you can even get a thicker piece of the low sodium chicken and add a little gravy yum.. sometimes your meats just need sauce esp in the beginning.. everything I ate had, tomato sauce, gravy or bbq sauce I couldn't eat a lot of things dry...
