Just got banded this past December.  Having success, but lacking.  Wondering about getting in fiber every day.  I am having 1 1/2 bowls of FIBER PLUS cereal daily, but what else should I be taking?  Thank you!

Complex carbs (vegetables, fruits, and whole grains) give you fiber, plus they're the kind of food that keeps you satisfied longer than simple carbs (white bread, pasta, rice, potatoes).

I used Benefiber chewable tablets for a while, but they don't add all that much to my fiber intake.

I think there are some beverages or beverage mixes available now that have added fiber (by Crystal Light, maybe? not sure).

Are you asking about this because of a problem with constipation? If so, one of the simple things you can do to help it is just drink more water.

I used to take stool softeners from time to time, but I can't swallow them any more.

Thanks.

Not asking because I have a problem, just asking because I know fiber is important to a diet and want/need to add more.

I know benefiber makes some awesome crystal light type drinks that are actually very good and come in some pretty yummy flavors... im not big on juice and soda so when im craving something sweet i defintely grab a strawberry kiwi flavor and it quenches my thirst *bonus plus keeps me regular* try them!
