Don't know what it is but I was advised to stay away from juices because they are too high in calories and empty calories at that. Also very high in carbs.

It's an MLM Scam!  Run do not walk away from the person trying to push this stuff on you.

What does "MLM" mean?  Sorry, but I sometimes have a hard time picking up on the acronyms.  I've seen advertisements for this in a magazine at my surgeons office.

Scam?  Pyramid?  no...neither of those words are accurate discriptions of Juice Plus. NSA, the company who makes Juice Plus has been around for almost 40 years and Juice Plus has been on the market for over 18 years.  During that time Juice Plus has been researched by such institutions as MD Anderson, Brigham Young, Duke University, The National Institutes of Health, Yale University, University of Sidney, Autralia, and countless others.  Please go to Juiceplus.com to read the research and watch the videos.  Juice Plus makes no medical claims, but it has been proven to actually get into your blood stream and improve your immune system, lower key markers of systemic inflammation and support your cardiovascular system.  The research has been published in countless medical journals including  Integrative Medicine,  Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise (3 times),  International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition,  Journal of the American College of Cardiology and several others.  These institutions and Medical Journals do not do research nor publish research for questionable products.
Also, Juice Plus is recommended by 1000's of Doctors all over the world because of the research. To date they have 18 published studies.  It is the most researched wholefood nutritional supplement on the market.  It is not a juice, but is a powder encapsulated or in a soft chewable. The capsules are sugar and gluten free.
Please check it out for yourself by reading the info on the website.  It is a wonderful product.

I stay away from liquid calories.  The band works best with dense protein.  Juice is a waste of calories in my book.
