            As you may or may not know, I am 3 months into my being banded mission as per the requirements of my insurance... ::sigh:: Anyway, I know it will b worth it in the end... but while reading a lot of these posts I noticed the use of a lot abbreviated terms, and acroynms that everyone seem familiar with (like sliming, nsv, pb...) Since Im soon to join the band "wagon" Can someone pleeeeease familiarize me with the terms?? Thanks

Sliming-  when you eat too fast or get stuck you will notice excessive amounts of saliva in your mouth.  that's sliming.  For me the saliva is extra thick.

PB- Productive burp-  also happens if you eat too much or too fast.  You burp and food comes up.

NSV-  Non- Scale Victory-  It's when you hit a milestone that has nothing to do with the scale.  Like I can cross my legs...or I fit into a size 14.... or I am off my blood pressure meds

SV- Scale victory- When you hit a scale milestone like 199- no longer in the 200's or you lost 100 lbs.
