Well the sad thing is, a lot of doctors and surgeons ASSUME, morbidly obese people are very lazy and will not eat right, SO....they feel they need to be tortured to lose weight, this is why many surgeons will suggest the bypass for those with a very high BMI....if your hubby is dead set on the band and he KNOWS that he will work his band and exercise there is no need to get the bypass regardless if he has 200 pounds to lose. Good luck

We talked today and he said he thinks that the Dr. gave up on him because he is struggling to use his Cpap machine properly. (found out he had sleep apnea in Jan.)  But he feels that no one can tell him that he can't fly until he proves to himself that he can't. I totally understand where he is coming from. This might of been a good thing, because he is more determined to lose what he is suppose to lose to get himself healthy. I feel the same way. Even though my hubby isn't on OH and I am, he is getting alot of support.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!

I HAVE HIS BACK FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!!

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time...
