I am even more excited then I was, I saw the nutritionist and Dr today. I am scheduled for surgery May 6th. The Dr gave me the perscriptions to get filled so I went and did that. OMG almost $400.00 and that was after the discount from insurance.

I like the Dr I have, so think as far as that it will be a success. I got the list of what I need to eat 10 days prior surgery the liquid diet. After reading several post on here, it's amazing how different the instructions are from Dr to Dr.  My Dr says NO to cream soups and No to any type of milk. I will go with what he says, I know several women that I work with that are doing great and I want to be in that group

My GOSH!  What in the world did he have you get that cost $400.00 if you don't mind sharing that info.  My perscriptions, a pain killer, and an anti nausea, cost $20.00.  I'm astonished!

Congrats on your surgery date! I agree...definitely follow YOUR doctors instructions exactly. You are very right, they are all very different. I did exactly what I was told and have had zero problems.
Good Luck!

Great to hear. I have my nutrictionist appt April 14 and I was wondering what is covered in this visit. So then I will need to get my vitamins too after the appt? I am scared and excited about the process, I am worried that I will be hungrey alot , I am diabetic type 2 and if I dont eat every three hours or so I get stomach sick. How long do we have to wait before we get scheduled for surgery?
