Day 2 Post Op

Well I am feeling much better than yesterday. That was a rough day. I am at work today feeling better but still sore. Having to remember SMALL sips... everyone is telling you drink drink drink.. and then you do... and you regurgitate it back up because your sips are too refquent or to large... ouch. Dry heaving to get half a teaspoon of liquid up is no fun! This is definetly a learning experience.

Surgery went well. Doc was awesome. AND I'm finally passing some of that painful gas.. thank goodness.

WOW your back at work !!! I was off for a week after my surgery with the weekend it was like 10 days.. I just felt nausated ...

take mini breaks and walk around that really helps and make sure to drink your water so you stay hydrated.

I have to say I am suprised that you are back at work..like previous poster said..try to walk around for the gas to move.  If you feel sick..go home!

Wow! I'm surprised your doctor released you to return to work so soon. Be careful! The workplace can be full of germs so take extra precautions. I stayed in bed for the first 3 days, and took 3 weeks off. Truth be told, I only needed 2. But I was still sore into day 10. Good luck and congrats!!

Morning Ladies!

Wow today I really feel good. :) For the first night since surgery I slept in my bed ALL NIGHT! I didnt wake up every 10-15 minutes with gas pain and have to walk aimlessly around my living room.
Wow how awesome I feel having a full nights rest.

AND today I finally get to have thicker liquids. I am excited about my NF yogurt.. even though, I am not really hungry. With that being said.. I think I am diggin this. ;)

Dont worry about me ladies, I have a desk job, my own office and can leave whenever I feel I need to. Unfortunetly it seems like when I am not here.. things fall apart so piece of mind at home is impossible. I work in oilfield and things are CraCraCrazy lately.
