I have a drug problem!!
I use Pepcid Complete fairly regularly and the UK ones taste really nasty. When I was in the US I got the "new" mint tasting ones and they were actually nice! So I bought lots and now whenever anyone goes to the US, they get me a supply! (I did ask the UK branch of the manufacturers and they said there was no call for them in the UK - well as we have never had them and so don't know of them, there wouldn't be, would there!!).
My question - the last person I asked to get them (last week!) said they couldn't find any! Lots of berry ones but no mint. I can find mint ones online from Amazon.co.uk (amazon.com won't send meds to the UK) but they are extortionate!! £22 for just 25 tabs!
Are they still on sale in the US? I did hear of a product recall last year. Anyone know? Just would be helpful if the next Brit I ask to get them knows where to go!!

I can get that stuff on amazon for USD21.00, but the USPS quotes USD29.50 for shipping a 1 pound package to England via priority mail. The total cost would be approx GBP31.48.
I'll check Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and some other local pharmacies to see if I can get the mint flavor for a lower price and will let you know later this week.

Thanks, Jean. It's not worth the shipping costs but if I can tell my next friend to visit where to buy it...! The last one tried CSV (or is it CVS??) and couldn't find any! But don't go out of your way to find it! Just if you happen to be in the relevant stores! Next visit is not for another month at elest!

Thanks Diana. They charge a flat rate of $26.90 for the UK so if i wanted to buy vast quantities it wouldn't be bad but for a few bottles....! I'm too miserly! As long as I know they can still be bought, I'll wait!
