Day before banding I was wearing 48" waist pants.... I am not one to spend a lot of money buying jeans so I have been belting my 44" jeans. Well my mother in law said it looked like I could fit two butts in my jeans this week.

It seems here in my area that most department stores only carry waist sizes to 40". This is true of Khols, Target, and a lot of the Mall stores. So while I was buying groceries last night at Walmart I decided to try on some 42" Levi's relaxed fit jeans. To my surprise they were very roomy! I then went and got regular 501 jeans and they fit really well!

I have not been in a pair of 42"  501's since probably 2007 and 2003 when I had some succesful diet and exercise binges.

Congratulations!  Isn't that fun when you discover that your perception no longer matches up with the reality of your actual size?  It's tough to get over, but you will adjust and start seeing yourself as the new, smaller you!

Size 40's here you come!

Isn't that just the best feeling ever, when you realize that the smaller size fits with room to spare?  Congrats!
