Tired of maintaining... setting a new goal

I've been maintaining 150-154lbs for about 6 months and frankly, I'm tired of it. I am proud of  my 150lbs loss, but the next 10lbs will only drop if I start toning my body. It'll be a fight, but no more lazy Elena.

I am going back to the gym. I recently moved and haven't found a new gym. Today's the day!

I found a 14oz plastic bowl that will be my indicator of portion size anywhere I go. That's my plan. I like to take baby steps now. I remember my old days of trying to do too much too soon. That only lasts so long.

My weight today: 151lbs (March 31st)
My goal: 148 (by April 30th)

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

I asked about your height because you look so tiny in your "now" photos, I just couldn't imagine where on that little body you'd find another 10 lbs to lose! According to the BMI charts, you do need to lose another 10 lbs, but I agree that your body's going to fight you about it! The last few pounds are always the toughest.

Hey Elena,

Are you living in Seoul? I've been living here for four years. I'm in the same position as you. My weight has been coming off slowly and have been maintaining around 160 but really want to get under 140.

I think at this stage I can realistically lose around 4lbs a month (even if I really want to lose 10!).

Which doctor do you go to?

Yep I currently live in Seoul. I don't see a doctor here, but I know of one in case of an emergency.

I can't ask for much more than 3-4lbs a month... I know my body will fight me!

I haven't had WLS yet, so I can't wait to be in your dilemma! It gives me hope and excitement to think about the last 10 lbs!! Anyway, I do have one question: how much does excess skin weigh, and how does that figure into goal weight? it might be a stupid question, but it's something i've wondered about. I've read that people lose 10-20 lbs or more when they've undergone the knife to remove excess skin. Just wondering.
Good luck with your new goal. I'm inspired by you and I'm sure that you can do anything you set your mind to!!!
