I just got banded on 3/23.  I don't have a fill yet, but the nurse said I have mild restriction, just due to the band being on.  anyway, my question is, I find sometimes that I get a fullness/pressure in my chest or upper stomach.  I was thinking maybe from drinking my protein shakes to fast maybe?  Any suggestions or thoughts??  thanks everyone!!

That fullness, pressure is normal.  For the first few weeks (4-6) you are swollen and that is why you feel "restriction".  Just concentrate on healing and eating what you were told (post-op instructions) and don't worry about weight loss...measure, chew, drink your fluids and recover from your surgery.

Good luck!

I had the same issue after I was banded but my pressure came from gas. The gas pressure would cause left shoulder pain and sharp chest pains. I took lots of gas-x and bean-o tabs and I got relief.
