I am looking for yummy protein shake recipies, please. Is there a specific protein powder that is better tasting or better for you? I want to make sure I get enough protein. I've never made a protein shake...actually... I've never even used my blender. LOL Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use different protein powder, but the rest of the recipe is still the same.  It's very good!  I sometimes use vanilla, and sometimes chocolate.

If I'm doing the powder I usually do Nectar, Jay Robb, Chike, or Lean Dessert. The Lean Dessert chocolate coconut is awesome! Jay Robb and Chike I have the vanilla so that way I can just add whatever flavor DaVinci SF syrup I want at the time. With the Nectar I kind of do a strawberry pina colada:

Debbie the Lean Desserts are also thicker than most of the other protein shakes. I like that.

my fav is Unjury Chocolate Classic.  it's a medical grade protein powder.   I scoop w. l cup ff milk, and l T organic peanut butter..... i call it my Reese Cup fantasy shake.  and adding 1/2 frozen banana is good too.  I used soy milk once in the blender, and it was way too "frothy".  so stick to the ff milk if you can.

My favorite is by Gaspari Nutrition - Myofusion Chocolate/Peanut Butter flavor.  I use water and ice and blend - tastes like a choc milkshake.  If you need more protein for the day - add 1/4 c of egg whites for nominal calories.  If you need more calories, throw in 1 TBS of sugar free natural peanut butter.  A banana would be tasty and because of the protein the glycemic factor of the banana isn't much of an issue.  But i personally don't eat fruit.

The myofusion is primarily whey protein but does have some casein protein which is a longer lasting protein.

Stay away from all casein protein and unless you can't eat whey, dont do soy protein - i guarantee you will come to a complete weight loss stall.
