It's a dreary cold day and I thought I would share this site.

You can watch a Bald Eagle sit on her 3 eggs that are to hatch around 4/1/11

www.raptorresource.org   This nest is in Northeast Iowa near a fish hatchery.  A article was in the paper today about it.  The article said that the eagle cam has been watched by Internet users in about 130 countries already.  There's almost 4 million page visits per day.

So if you want to watch an eagle sitting on a nest....real exciting.....hahaha.... there you go!

I thought about you all day, Kristi.

My husband and the dog and I went up to Mt. Lemmon and we hiked for 5 1/2 hours.
I was thinking about you -- hoping that you had a good weather day and were enjoying the outdoors ---- guess not!  LOL

Looks like you found a way to entertain yourself indoors!

I'm so envious!  5 & 1/2 hours sounds like heaven.  I just couldn't get myself to walk out in the wind and cold this afternoon.  I'm so tired of yucky weather.  I did get some good walks in a few days ago.  I usually say if it's over 25 degrees, I will get outside, just couldn't do it today and it was 40 something and was sunny for part of the day, but we had to go to the college campus where my son is going to go to this Fall.

Gosh, I wish we lived closer and I would go hiking with you!

Hi Kristi.  I've been watching this for about 3 weeks.  It's incredible to be so close.  I've seen the male and female switch places on the nest, and the male bring food to the female. Can't wait until the eggs hatch.

In Des Moines with Christa.  Will head back home tomorrow.  She's doing fine.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Glad Christa is doing okay!  How nice that you were able to spend time with her.

How funny that you have been watching the nest!  It was on a friend's facebook page and then I saw it in the Sunday paper.

My friend Annie joined OH, she had her surgery on the 17th. I'll PM you her username.

Hey Petham, I can't see the pics, but isn't it fun to see wildlife that was on the endangered list years ago!  I'm so glad they are doing better!
