This morning I ate fine, had eggs earlier in the morning, then greek yogurt for late morning snack, all went down fine, now just had some meatballs and edamane beans,  the band decided to reject it and it came back up.  I hate this.... one minute it's loose, one minute it's tight!!

Just venting.. anyone go thru this?  It s just so unpredictable....

still working on my appeal for revision!

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

Yes this happens to me too.  I also have the problem where I can eat eggs one morning with no problems and the very next day I can't finish them because I will get sick if I have another bite...WTF!!!

Cheryl, yep, you know we were banded around the same time and even two years later, I cannot predict it from day to day. I have had a few upchucks the past couple of days myself. I think that allergy season ha**** and I have a lot of postnasal drip going on. So I'm a liquid girl too probably through the weekend.

Extremely frustrating! Can go from one extreme to another!

When I'm at home it's not so much of a big deal, but when going out to eat it's an issue. We went to the restaurant today and after I ordered I couldn't eat. We were not going home after that, so I could not take it with me and have for later, so what we paid for my meal was essentially just thrown away! Now of course I can eat anything and everything!

Happens to me all the time!!!  And has since the beginning.  I'm almost 4 years out!  I kept thinking it was me but I think I've gave the band a valiant effort.  The doctors say "well, you're eating around the band."  Maybe in part, that's true but I believe the band forces you to do that.  I don't personally know anyone who's had great success with the band.  I know they're out there but I don't personally know them.   My family hates this thing!  They've been with me when I had to say "Pull over now!"  They've been at the dinner table when I would suddenly stop eating and take off to the bathroom.  Seriously, they hate it!  They've not been with me when I sat at desk at work and threw up in a cup!  :(  I couldn't keep gettin up and going to the bathroom and I wouldn't have made it anyway.

Long story short, I went last Thursday to discuss conversion!  The approval process has started.  A co-worker said her approval only took a week!  I'm not a person who started this whole process to be skinny.  I don't care about that (ok, it would be a bonus) but I've got numerous health issues and I've got to get this weight off.

Hey Cheryl!
I j ust had a long post to send to you and my laptop decided to delete it...grrr.  Anyhow, this happens to me, but I have not lost any meals.  Just had a couple of bad stuck episodes.  I usually test the waters, eat one or two bites to see how my band's feeling.  I always start my day with something hot though, my band likes that.

I didn't know you were thinking towards a revision!  PM me on FB and let me know how your appeal goes. Why are you wanting a revision?  And to what??
Good Luck!
Nicole

I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:)  After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great!  Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should.  Now it's my turn to lose this weight!  It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!

I had it happan 3 times this week. I can't seem to eat pork it;s just to dense. I tried corn beef to st patty;s same thing. I tried cutting it so small with scrambeled egg this morning smae thing. I'm getting tried of eating the same foods and so many of the things I loved to eat O find I can't. I thought with the corn beef I would chew more but it didn't work. The texture not good. That really hurt cause it was one of my favorite foods. Seems like its turkey meatballs, with sauce or chicken parm.cause of sauce. it has to be moist or won't go down.. I wanted to get a fill next week cause I only had 1cc in the first month and this month have just maintained up and down the same couple of lbs. I guess I will discuus with the assianitant physican. I never see the doc. I thought it was my fault. Now after reading everyone else has it for a few yrs. It sure is a scarey thing for me. I hope things fet better and I'm starting to feel healthy and move around better....
