OMG, I can't believe it....

I have never climbed before.  This was my goal prior to surgery and I can't believe I did it.  I was excited and scared.  My legs were shaking half way up and my arms were shaking.  My daughter and son have encouraged me in so many ways throughout this journey to get healthier.  I remember my DS giving me a hug when I was dealing with the insurance company trying to get approval.  He is not an emotional, huggy type guy and when I was upset, he was there.  My DH has been doing the 30 day shred with me and walking with me every evening.

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and it takes a lot to get me to cry.  I'm so happy I got the chance to get this band and I'm so happy to be able to say I met this goal today.  My daughter encouraged me on the wall this morning. I didn't think I could make it and she told me I could.

I am fighting for every pound at this point and I'm getting so much stronger.  I believe that I can do this one day at a time and with support of my DH, kids and friends and all of you on OH, it helps so much.  I'm not alone in this fight against obesity.  I sound like a dork right now.....

So here's a few more pics.

This one is when I made it to the ground and it's blurry, but I was so happy to have made my goal!

I took "route 2" to the left of where DD is climbing, you can see all the holds I had and I thought it was really hard.

My daughter Kelsey.

Time to make some more challenging goals.....

I'm terrified of heights. I tried a rock wall: got maybe 3 feet off the ground and backed down before I pooped my pants. I'm fine with HIGH heights, like buildings and planes, but stuff like even a ladder scares the  out of me!!

Banded 10 years & maintaining my weight loss!! Any questions, message me.

Kristie.  Fantastic job.  I hear you about the pounds getting harder and harder to shift.  The scale is creeping so slowly down but the clothes are getting bigger.  So I guess that is the most important thing.

You look so happy. your DD is beautiful and her skin - I want that complexion again.  ( yes I'm jealous)
Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.
