I was never a sweets eater thank goodness lol but when it comes to about a week before my montly man do I crave the sweets and salt lol.

Me personally , I just get what I want and eat it .   If its a candy bar I get a small candy bar and enjoy it and then that solves the problem, or I get sugar free ice cream .  I got banana split in my freezer right now.

I have learned the more I try to deny myself of something sweet I end up eating everything else to try to curb that craving and then I end up eating ten times as much as if I just went ahead and ate whatever I wanted lol.

I eat Breyers Carb Smart ice cream bars.  I eat the chocolate ones and they are 100 calories and 9 carbs.  When I really want something yummy I eat Weigh****chers chocolate chip cookie dough sundae...these are 170 calories (I think) and I'm not sure what the carbs are...but it's very yummy!!!  The Weigh****chers has all different kinds of things like brownies and cheesecake.  But I only eat these sparingly..I have eaten these maybe twice this year.  It's a slippery slope.  If I do it too often then once a week turns into every day and then I lose no weight.  So I have to be careful on my splurges...I'm like a crack ***** and candy, cookies and cakes are my crack...a little is never enough!!! hahaha!!!

Today I had a piece of chocolate cake, not the whole cake, just a small one. I bought the slice from a restaurant, and I didn't eat the whole thing in one sitting (I spaced it out). You can have your sweets, just in moderation. I'm no saint, but I don't deprive myself. It only makes me want it more.

REALIZE Band on 12/20/10 with
A few weeks back I found Jello Sugar Free Pudding in Boston Cream Pie and a Banana flavor with chocolate, I think Bananas Foster or something along those lines.  They are awesome.  The Bostom Cream Pie flavor is so good I went back in to the refrigerator to make sure I didn't make a mistake and buy the regular stuff instead.  60 calories of heaven in a cup.  I highly recommend these for sweet teeth

I went cold turkey from sweets for awhile. Then once it was out of my system... I added in fruit to my diet. Grapes and apples taste very sweet to me now. I keep grapes prewashed in the fridge and grab a handful when I am craving something sweet.

I also really like
Almond Dream Bites. I grab a few of those if I am craving some ice cream (my kryptonite). They are like lil bon bons. Yum.

dill pickles.... I don't know what it is, but it works!

Or I steam a monster bowl of edamame and sprinkle cajun seasoning on it. YUM!

Hi...here's a great sweet treat: 4 oz. container of Oikos Greek yogurt with honey. Mix in 2 packets of equal, a small drizzle of honey, a dabble of Granola (Bear Naked Maple Pecan) and a teaspoon of light coolwhip. It's delious!
