SLIPPED BAND

Each time your band has slipped you have been on a month long liquid diet?  I am concerned I have one (especially after seeing my upper GI film) - still waiting to hear back from the Dr.

Did they confirm your slip with an upper GI?  And did they do an upper GI to confirm that you were back in place to start filling your band again?

I'm so anxious about all of this and I just don't feel well!

I did; got my first band 2007, no problems or issues for 2 whole years, band slipped, and I ended up not being able to keep it. On 2/18/11, I got another band. I had great success with my initial band, so I opted to do this again. So far, 17lbs down, things going great. I do believe my slip was due to not being able to maintain my band like I should have. I lost my job, and insurance, and didn't go to the doctor for about a year, but wasn't really concerned b/c I'd reached my goal weight. I hope everything works out for you

My band is let's say super tricky!!! I have had 4 slips and unfills and 5 fills I barely have anything in the band my stomach is so sen to it.  What sucks is when it happens I can't eat so when they unfil me i am starving so i eat whatever i want and it has back fired on me =( I gained like 25 lbs and I'm very unhappy about it.  I figure just gotta keep on truckin till it clicks again and i don't know if I would get a revision type of procedure seems so perm but I guess you never know.  I do know how unhappy I am so hard!!!!
