I got my first fill yesterday, my nurse put in 2cc's which now brings me to 3cc's because my surgeon injected 1cc during surgery. I was unaware that they did that. Im so happy now because this week was the first week that my weight has stalled. Well anyway, I feel great liquids going smoothly but I here that it can take a few days til i feel the fill. How many days did u guys stay on liquids after a fill?

It varies enormously. I just have to do liquid (thick as I like, so purees really) for the rest of the day (even if I have an evening fill) and then back to regulal foods the next day.

The level of restriction i feel as I leave the doc's office is the level I keep - for me it doesn't take time to "kick in".

Chances are that you wont feel the first fill, most of the time the first fill is a primer...but since your doctor already primed you, you may feel it.  My doctor only states 24 hours, but please follow YOUR doctor orders.

I have never had a fill to kick in later, what I have when I left the dr office is what I have unless I fly, then my fill will adjust (tighten) a little but goes back.

I had to stay on mushies for one day after my fills.  Sometimes it seems like it takes a few weeks for the fill to kick in.  Sometimes you feel it right away.  It usually takes a few fills before you feel real restriction.  Remember you also have fat  you are losing around the stomach where the band is, so like I said it usually takes a few fills.  At least you are on your way.
