discomfort on left side rib

Discomfort on my left side rib right under my breast. I feel my band is poking me in my ribs also woke up and found like a circle inprint on my side. Has this happened to anyone? I have a appt with my doc next week. Need advice if any thanks

You should  contact your Dr asap and let them know what's going on just to be on the safe side. 

Where did he put your port?

That is where *most* surgeons place your port...which is probably what the "round circle" is (for me, the port caused me the most discomfort while healing and yes, the round hard port feel REALLY weird if you run your fingers over it).  Of course, I would call my doc to confirm.   If it is your port, that circle will be there as long as you have your band.  :) Did your surgeon not tell you to expect this? Mine warned me immediately so I thought that was standard protocol when going over what to expect post-op.  Keep us informed.  Hugs...

ETA: By the way, your band is pretty much centered between your breastbone around your stomach, not under your rib cage.  Good luck!

My port is on my right side and my band is where I feel the discomfort. My port is fine. I will call my doc and let you guys know. Thanks
