PMS cravings
oh yummy mini blizzards I haven't had one of them forever in a day !!! I'm not a huge ice cream fan gosh I got a DQ cake sitting in my freezer since last Thursday and had one small slice of it on my sons birthday .
I will have to remember them mini blizzards I do like to eat one of them in the summertime :o)
Jen the more I fought the cravings the worse it got for me. And what would happen is I would eat everything else hopefully them cravings would go away but it didn't so I ended up eating twice as much food if I would have just broke down and ate what I wanted in the first place lol.

I hear 'ya I get crazy cravings for stuff I usually don't want, and just for more food in general. Funny thing... before surgery I ate so mindlessly that I didn't even recognize this happened to me every month. Now I know it's coming and I plan for it.
I agree with the other posters that I just can't eat around these type of cravings -- most of them anyway. It just does not work for me -- I will eat up 200 -300 calories of good for me things trying to avoid the 200 or 300 calorie treat that I really want -- then I'll eat the treat too!
But I do try and have some sort of a plan for this week.
I tend to want more snacks (normally not a snacker) so I will plan 2-3 fairly healthy snacks of foods that I REALLY like so I feel like I'm feeding the need to eat often and I'm getting something I like.
