has anyone tried these?  i think they're fairly new.  not a "shot" of liquid protein, but, one by sunkist.  i can't find a review anywhere!  i'll be having surgery in the coming weeks and i've been told i'll need to get in at least 60g of protein a day.  i can't stand the thought of any protein shake.  i'm truly not a "shake" person.  i've tried some, and.....bleck!!!  plus, this 3.2 oz shot has 42g of protein.   any words of advice?  tia..

unjury makes a chicken soup protein. it is quite good, you have to drink it warm, not hot so the protein doesn't break down.  20 gms of protein per scoop. they also make an unflavored protein

Looks like a decent product if you are truly protein deficient.  A word of caution that excess protein puts a big strain on the kidneys, so don't overdo it.  The 24 gr shot would be a great between meal snack.

Great post reply Steph!!!   Alot of people don't realize that the more protein you take, you need alot of water to help the kidneys out!

I've read that we can only absorb 20-30 grams of protein at one time, so not sure how much would be absorbed with the 3.2 oz shot.  Ask your surgeon.

Have you tried Zero carb Isopure?  It comes in a 20oz glass bottle and 40 grams of protein.  I got tired of the sweet protein drinks after surgery and I found the grape frost flavor.  It's like a diluted Koolaid, not too sweet.
